Brothers, Eoin and Rory Loveless, close 2013 out as one of the most buzzed about bands in the UK. 2014 holds two nominations for NME Awards in categories of Best New Band and Best Album, showcase slots at SXSW, and the release of their latest single “Fuckabout.” The two took on Mercury Lounge on Friday, wooing their audience into a head-banging trance and captivating with their onstage presence–the brothers seemed right at home. It won’t be long before the two are selling out rooms to gaggles of crowd surfers and the rebellious at heart. Drenge surely got their bearings this weekend, following up their Mercury show with one at Brooklyn’s Glasslands on Saturday night, as they get set to take the States by storm.
